Aloha Bianca and welcome to planDisney!
Your
Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa vacation is just around the riverbend - you must be so excited! You'll be enjoying the waves in no time. My family visited the resort almost exactly a year ago and I dream about returning.
Bianca, I spoke with a Cast Member about your question regarding types of payment and she confirmed that yes, Aulani Resort accepts Discover Card for payment for shopping and dining among other activities. Guests can also use cash, a major credit card, or a debit card. Disney Gift Cards are also accepted.
Tip #1: While you’re visiting Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa, be sure to visit the
Pau Hana Room - Community Hall. It's a games room full of activities and amenities for everyone! This is also the registration point for daily activities (subject to change) such as the
Menehune Adventure Trail (my family loved completing this at night as it has an extra bit of magic in the dark), make your own Aulani-inspired Mickey Ears, ‘ukulele lessons and Kāpala Ki'i - a t-shirt stamping activity.
Tip #2: I highly recommend checking the Daily ‘Iwa, it highlights the week’s events and activities so you can better plan your stay. It will tell you when and where to meet Characters, feed the fish at
Rainbow Reef and if there are beach activities you might like to partake in with your family.
DVC Members receive many perks and benefits for their Membership and there are several discounts offered at Aulani Resort. You can visit the
Disney Vacation Club Member website and explore the current
Benefits and Discounts for DVC Members. I like to keep checking to see the latest and greatest perks so I can take advantage of the benefits and incorporate them into my trip.
Bianca, I hope this information is useful to you for your vacation planning. Please don't hesitate to reach out to
planDisney in the future with any questions!
