We will be going to Disney in August 2027 for the 5th time. We already plan to do the Halloween party, but I’m looking for a way to make the trip extra special as my daughter is choosing a Disney trip to celebrate her Bat Mitzvah instead of a party

Hi Sara, and welcome to planDisney! Thank you for reaching out with this fun question. This is such a special time in your daughter’s life, and I love that she has decided to celebrate at the Most Magical Place on Earth! I truly cherish getting to help people add extra pixie dust to their Disney vacation planning, but this one calls for some really special magic!

The first suggestion I have for you is to schedule a Capture Your Moment photo session for your daughter at her favorite park. Disney PhotoPass photographers have a true gift for knowing exactly the spots to capture beautiful images in each of the four Walt Disney World Resort theme parks. This will give her a personalized 20-minute session that will capture her in this special moment in her life in front of iconic backdrops like Cinderella Castle or Spaceship Earth. You can even include some photos with the whole family!

Now for fun extras that will make this trip special, this is the perfect occasion to surprise her with something from the Enchanting Extras Collection to take the celebration to the next level! There are so many amazing options, but two that feel just right for this occasion are a fireworks dessert party or a fireworks cruise. The fireworks dessert party will feel like a great way to get that bat mitzah party vibe but with fireworks as the grand finale, plus a reserved viewing location that will make her feel like a VIP! For a more unique view of the show, a fireworks cruise is my all-time favorite Walt Disney World experience! It feels wonderfully private and intimate and is a great way for the family to spend time away from the crowds. With this option, you can charter a private cruise for up to 10 people to view the fireworks at either Magic Kingdom Park or EPCOT. This is one of the most special Disney memories I’ve ever had with my family and one I will never forget!

Finally, if you would like to plan a celebratory dinner, your options are endless, whether she prefers elegant, lively, or fun! Since this will be your fifth visit to Walt Disney World, I’m sure you already have some dining favorites! I think Cinderella’s Royal Table would be a wonderful place to celebrate this occasion. There is just something truly magical about dinner inside Cinderella Castle that feels perfectly suited for a princess-worthy celebration. It’s what dreams are made of!

I hope this gives you some ideas to start planning a special visit to celebrate your daughter’s bat mitzvah! Since you are planning an August 2027 visit, keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog in the next couple of months. We should see an announcement soon about 2027 vacation packages and maybe even some special offers!

Sara, I have loved answering this question and dreaming up ideas for you! If you have any more questions, stop back by and see me. I would love to continue helping you make this visit “practically perfect in every way!”

    Your pal,
    Casey
