Going to Disney for Archery Competiton in October. Is there a place at the park entrances where his bow case can be stored after the shoot so that we do not have to go all the way back to the hotel?

    Hi Karen,

Wow that sounds like a lot of fun!  See even us "Moms" learn new stuff about Disney as I was not aware of the Archery Competition.

There are lockers available for rent at the front of each of the Disney parks. The lockers are located right inside the entrance to each park: Magic Kingdom is on the ground floor of the train station, Epcot is to the right of Spaceship Earth, Hollywood Studios is right by Oscar's Service Station, and Animal Kingdom is right to the left as you enter the turnstiles. The lockers rent for approximately $5.00 a day with a small (around $2.00) refundable deposit when the key is returned that day.

I have to admit, I am not sure how big a bow is or what size space you may need, but we have used the lockers a number of times to store extra bags, purchases and more. The only suggestion I may have is regarding the new security measures in place at the parks since September 11th. Each guest must pass through security and have all bags checked. I am not sure security would allow a guest to pass with a bow and arrow, so you may be better off to return them to your room before entering the parks.

Have a great time and good luck in the competition.
