Delores from FL Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

On My Disney apt, the Rise of the Resistance was unavailable to book for my day at the park. Is there a standby line for the ride available?

Step over to the Light Side, Delores! Here at planDisney, we are one with the Force, so let's talk about how you can join the Resistance at Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge on your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort visit.

It sounds like you hoped to purchase a Lightning Lane Single Pass for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. This popular attraction often sells out of passes quickly. Even though I find that lack of availability disturbing, as Darth Vader might say, I do have some ideas.

It sounds simple, but I promise it can work: Keep trying! Guests often change their plans, which could create an opening for Rise of the Resistance. I was hoping to snag seats for Starlight Safari and kept looking for availability on my mobile app. One day at a stoplight, BOOM, there were two spots! So persistence can pay off.

Another option is to head to the standby queue for Rise of the Resistance as soon as the park opens. Wait times are typically lower in the morning, and I can't think of a better place to start the day than at Batuu. I like to grab a Cold Brew Black Caf at Kat Saka's Kettle as a mid-morning pick-me-up; ask for extra chocolate puffs!

My final tip is to try the Single Rider queue. It's to the right of the attraction entrance and is usually available once the standby wait time gets long. My husband and I love the typically shorter wait in that line. We don't always get to ride together, but we're usually within a few vehicles of each other. Please note that you'll miss the main queue and possibly the first transport scene if you use the Single Rider entry, but I prefer to go straight to the main attraction!

Delores, I wish you bright suns on your upcoming visit. I have a GOOD feeling about this! Please stop by planDisney anytime.

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
