Hi, we're going to Disney in April and staying offsite at a family time share. We did not go with the dining plan. Do we need reservations? If so, how do you plan such? We got park hopper passes and are not sure where we'll be when.

I know it can be difficult and overwhelming to think about making meal reservations for dates that are months away. But I think you need to do it. April can be a very busy month at WDW. If you want to eat at a table service restaurant at this time, you are going to need an advance dining reservation (ADR).

If you're looking for a place to start, take a look at the park hours schedules and extra magic schedules for April, which are now available at Disneyworld.com. Try to map out a basic plan for which days you intend to visit which parks. And then call 407-WDW-DINE, to get a few reservations on the books. You can always change or cancel them. I'd hate to see you shut out of table service meals that you might have enjoyed if you had only called earlier.
