I am going to Disney this April with my husband and 3 year old little girl. Would the Cirque show be something a 3 year old would enjoy? We where looking for something outside of the parks to do that was different. For our 4th trip we wanted something new.

Cirque du Soleil is an incredible show, but it is long -- 90 minutes with no intermission. This would have been a bit too much for my girls when they were 3, especially considering that the tickets are fairly expensive and there's a possibility that she might be restless and want to leave in the middle. I think you might all enjoy the show more if you waited until your daughter were maybe 5 or 6 years old.

As an alternative, have you ever taken your daughter to Fort Wilderness? There's a cute petting zoo there where you could get a pony ride. You could also take your daughter on a hay ride in the evening or participate in the Chip and Dale sing-along campfire. There's marshmallow roasting and free movie under the starts there almost every night.

Let us know if you need other ideas.
