I am going to Disney for approx the 20th time in my life, the first day we get there we're not going to a park, but arriving very early. any fun ideas I want to try something new and exciting. Traveling group is mom dad and 21mo old princess

    Hi Kendra!

Congratulations on your 20th visit to the most magical place on earth! Looks like we both share a love for Walt Disney World. No matter how many times you visit, there is something new to discover.

We always use the first day of our vacation to explore Downtown Disney, the resort or the pools and start fresh at the parks the next day.

There are several new and exciting happenings at Downtown Disney that I would recommend.

This summer Downtown Disney opened an AMC Dine-In Theatre. Talk about making dinner and a movie convenient. Depending on when you visit, there may be a new movie out that your 21-month old would sit through. If not, don't despair, just head over to T-Rex, which your daughter will love! This prehistoric family restaurant will be included in the Disney Dining Plan (DDP) in 2012. T-Rex has great food and is surrounded by interactive dinosaurs.

There are also several new shops in Downtown Disney, including littlemissmatched, Tren-D and D Street.

Another fun option is visiting the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. There are many new and exciting things happening here too!

No matter what you choose to do, I know you will have a magical time with your family!

    Magically,
    Stacy
