Bright Suns, Angela! I hear you're out to hunt for virtual bounties during your time on planet Batuu. Don't worry, I've smuggled out the answer for you!
Like you, I'm so excited to use
MagicBand+ on my upcoming trip to Black Spire Outpost in
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. Walking in the footsteps of Din Djarin or Boba Fett is a galactic dream of mine and my excitement level is out-of-this-world! I already have my MagicBand+ ordered and can't wait to
experience Star Wars: Batuu Bounty Hunters.
Angela, while I haven't used my MagicBand+ to track down virtual bounties in
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge quite yet, I did a little digging for you and came up with an answer that I think will make you and your little bounty hunters very excited. Your kids should be able to experience
Star Wars: Batuu Bounty Hunters with the help of MagicBand+ and, while the
Play Disney Parks app is recommended, it is not necessary when searching for virtual bounties. However, I believe that you and your little ones will be able to combine forces in order to fully engage in this interactive experience!
Your kids will be able to tap into the bounty board located near Black Spire Station where their journey will begin. You will be able to use your Play Disney Parks app to view a map that can help direct them where to go. Your kids will be able to know they're on the right track by following the cues from the MagicBand+, which will light up green when they're getting closer or red if they're moving farther away from the target. The MagicBand+ will also project quick vibrations when they're on the right track, with long vibrations when they're moving farther from the bounty. Once they've found the bounty, you can also use the Play Disney Parks app on your smartphone as a thermal scanner, which will provide some great visuals that can support their mission! What I'm trying to say is, like Jango and Boba Fett, you and your kids will make the perfect bounty hunting team together.
As you continue to prepare for your voyage to
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, be sure that you've made your theme park reservations with the
Disney Park Pass system! This is an important step to reserve the parks you'd like to visit, including Disney's Hollywood Studios. Also, make sure that you channel your inner Jedi and stop by the
Milk Stand to try both the green and blue milk. You'll also be able to refuel from your long journey at several different locations. My favorite place to indulge in galactic grub is
Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo (try the Felucian Kefta and Hummus Garden Spread and Moof Juice - trust me!). My best tip is to
mobile order your food using the
My Disney Experience app, which makes obtaining your fuel easier than a Jedi mind trick!
If you have any other questions, please have your droid send us another transmission to planDisney and we will be happy to help. And may the Force be with you!
'Til the Spires!
