Disney and adults. I love kids, but as mine have grown...we are now looking for a Disney property that is the most adult friendly.

    Hi, Laura!

I've done many adults only trips to Walt Disney World, and we've stayed in just about every type of accommodation Disney has to offer. You can find resort contentment anywhere, but some of the resorts lend themselves more to an adults only experience.

Disney's Port Orleans - French Quarter is intimate and romantic. There are horse drawn carriage rides for some quiet romance, or try the evening Painting on de' Bayou class for guests over 12. There are plenty of recreational activities grown-ups will love.

Nothing's better than breakfast on a savanna view balcony at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. Enjoy morning coffee just feet from a giraffe. Adults can take a tour of South Africa with wine and cheese to delight the palate at the Jiko Wine Tasting event Wednesday evenings at this fantastic signature restaurant.

Because a lot of school groups favor the All Star resorts, Disney's Pop Century Resort feels adult friendly to me. It's an easy walk from any of the buildings to the food court, and you might find some throwbacks to your own childhood if you look around.

    Enjoy a wonderful vacation, Laura!
