Hi Elizabeth! Thanks for visiting planDisney.
Good news! Cash, credit, debit, and Disney Gift Cards are accepted at most dining and merchandise locations at the Disneyland Resort. Feel free to bring the form of payment that is most convenient for you. I typically use a combination of small bills, my preferred credit card, and
Disney Credit Cards. Whatever works for you!
When using the
Disneyland mobile app to purchase Lightning Lane Multi Pass after scanning into the parks for the day, for example, I pay using a handy Disney Gift Card. That's also my favored method of payment during
mobile food and beverage orders. Just be aware that you won't be able to use your cash to pay for things with the Disneyland mobile app.
One solution is to use your cash to purchase a Disney Gift Card, which can be imputed as payment on the app. Disney Gift Cards don't expire and can be used not only in the parks to pay for dining and merchandise, but also can be used to purchase tickets, book hotel stays, and online at the
Disney Store. There are a couple of holiday gifts I've currently got my eye on, despite not being able to shop in the parks at the moment! The Disney Gift Card also can be a useful budgeting tool in the same way cash can be, limiting your spending to what's on the card.
I hope this helps!
Elizabeth
