Ahoy there, Matey! Welcome aboard
planDisney, where we set sail in search of answers to your Disney vacation questions. I’m so glad you decided to drop anchor here with your question about a magical
Disney Land & Sea Vacation, combining adventure on the High Seas with
Disney Cruise Line and the magic of
Walt Disney World Resort.
How exciting that you are sailing on the
Disney Treasure! This new ship looks absolutely fabulous, and I hope to sail with my family on the Treasure sometime in 2026. The only thing better than a cruise on Disney Cruise Line is following it up with another heaping sprinkle of pixie dust with a visit to Walt Disney World Resort. Your girls are in for an unforgettable time, and your family will have these memories to cherish for a lifetime.
While you can certainly plan to visit one of the Walt Disney World theme parks on the day you disembark the Disney Treasure, you will not have a full day that Saturday, by the time you disembark, retrieve your luggage, and take the transportation to
Disney’s Pop Century Resort. If Magic Kingdom Park is a favorite for your girls (as it was for my kids when they were around ages 5 and 8), you might want to save it for Sunday. You could enjoy one of the other parks for the second half of the day on Saturday. Since you are a Disney Resort hotel Guest, take advantage of the
Early Morning Theme Park Entry on Sunday!
I enjoy
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park in the afternoon, and while it closes a bit earlier, I enjoy the smaller crowds you can typically find as it gets later in the day. You can book
Lightning Lane Passes for the second part of the day for whichever park you decide to visit to maximize your time in the magic and minimize your time waiting in line for attractions and experiences.
I hope this information helps you plan a magical Disney Land and Sea Vacation, Shannon! I wish you smooth seas and a wonderful time at Walt Disney World Resort. If you have more questions, please return here to planDisney.
