Are there any discounts for veterans who are not active or retired?

    Hi Danielle!

According to the Walt Disney World U.S. Military Members Specially Priced Theme Park Tickets guidelines, Disney Military Salute Tickets may be purchased by Eligible Service Members. The guidelines further outline that "Eligible Service Member" is defined as "active or retired members of the US Military." Also, "Spouses of Military Service Members also qualify if they are able to present valid and active US Military IDs in the absence of active or retired Military Personnel or Commissioned Corps Members."

Therefore, it appears that only active or retired members of the U.S. Military qualify. If you are Reserve or Nation Guard, even if not on active duty orders, you qualify. Prior service members who did not retire are not eligible.

While not officially associated with Walt Disney World, Military Tips provides some great information on Disney's Armed Forces Salute Theme Park Tickets.

Shades of Green is a wonderful Armed Forces Recreation Center (AFRC) located at Walt Disney World. You can learn more about Shades of Green deals and special packages for members of the U.S. Military and their families on their website.

I hope you have a magical vacation!
    Magically,
    Stacy
