Are there any Discounts for Federal Employees (Civil Service)? I work for USDA Forest Service, Mark Twain National Forest. I'm also a Wild-land fire Dispatcher, Red carded which shows my qualifications in Fire by NWCG standards.

    Hi Sueanne,
Thanks for joining us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question!

I'm civil service too; occasionally the Walt Disney World Resort will extend certain discounts to those of us that have Government ID but generally it's been for those that are Department of Defense, not other branches of Government.

However, please don't let this dismay you as you plan your upcoming visit.  The Special Offers page has some fantastic discounts that are available to everyone.  Some are limited in availability (for example, the free dining offers often sell out quickly once they are announced) and others are available within a specific date range.  I hope you can find the perfect discount for your upcoming visit.

Sueanne, thank you for your service and please come see us again with any additional vacation planning questions.

    Best Wishes,
    Amy S.

Meet the Panelist: Amy, Florida

I’ve grown up in Central Florida and have been visiting Disney Parks for over 30 years. Now that I’m a mom myself of a blended family with four kids, I love sharing Disney’s year-round special events with my family. Some of our favorite events are the Flower and Garden Festival, Epcot's International Food and Wine Festival and Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party. Let me help you plan something extraordinary for your next Disney Parks vacation! Learn More About Amy
