Cheers, fellow Floridian! Thanks for stopping by planDisney.
I had to grab your question since we're from the same state and both
Annual Passholders, and I have asked
Mickey that question often! Unfortunately, Scrooge McDuck is in charge of the finances, and right now, just because we're loyal to the Mouse's East Coast home doesn't mean we automatically get discounts at his California house. Hopefully, Tinker Bell will sprinkle some pixie dust in the future, and you and I will be lucky!
In the meantime, there are some great options on the
Offers & Discounts page. Also, if you're a
Disney Vacation Club Member, you can check out the discounts and offers on the
Member website. They have a variety of deals on tickets and events, including at Disneyland.
I grew up in California, so we head to the parks when visiting family who still live there. One of our favorite things about staying at one of the resort hotels is that, as a
hotel guest, you get special perks, including extra park hours (through January, then it changes to Lightning Lane passes!) and special park access. We usually stay at the Grand Californian since we're DVC members, but next time we visit, we plan on staying at the new
Villas at Disneyland Hotel, and we can't wait!
Charleen, hopefully, one day our Annual Passes will be as magical on the West Coast as on the East Coast. But, while we wait, I'll see you on the
East Side! Feel free to come back with any additional questions.
