I get discounted tickets through my work. We would like to book the hotel and dining plan but purchase tickets separately. Can we do that? It looks like you cannot get the dining plan without a package? Thanks,

Hi Amanda! Many guests love the savings and convenience of using the Disney Dining Plan. You're correct, however, that to purchase the Dining Plan you must book a vacation package that includes both a Disney resort and park tickets. Unfortunately you would not be able to purchase the discounted tickets through your employer and still add the Dining Plan to your resort-only reservation.  I recommend that you run the numbers to see if the savings on the price of the park tickets outweighs the potential savings you'd have with the Disney Dining Plan. If you're planning to dine at a lot of character meals or are hearty eaters, you may find that the Dining Plan will save you a lot of money even if you have to pay more for the park tickets by purchasing them as part of a Disney vacation package. if you have older children who still prefer to order from the children's menus or your family doesn't normally order the most expensive items on the menu or eat dessert, you may find that you'd spend less paying out-of-pocket for your meals and getting the discounted tickets from your employer.

Come visit us again at the Moms Panel if you have more questions! We'd love to help!
