Can discounted Magic Your Way tickets purchased at a military base office or Shades of Green be used by non-military affiliated guest? It's a gift to my niece & sister. I want to make sure I do not need to be present for them to enter the park

    Hello Janice,

Thank you for your family's service to our country! I am an Air Force wife myself, so we have often bought the Disney Military Promotional Tickets for our Walt Disney World vacations and love the fact that we are able to purchase tickets under the same offer for our friends and family vacationing in Walt Disney World along with us. It is such an incredible benefit and we are so pleased that Disney does this for U.S. Military Members and their families. We have also found special rates for U.S. Military on select Resort Hotels and for cruises on Disney Cruise Line.

The Disney Military Promotional Tickets are meant for use with family and friends only if they are part of your travel party. While you do have to present a valid military identification to purchase the promotional tickets, there must also be valid military identification presented upon the first day of arrival at the parks. This means that you, or another person in your party that has valid military identification, must be present to activate the tickets at the Walt Disney World theme park ticket windows. The tickets do not provide admission into the parks until they have been activated.  If you do gift the Disney Military Promotional Tickets to your sister and niece, you will have to be present and also activating a promotional ticket of your own. Eligible service members or their spouses can also purchase the Memory Maker at a discounted rate upon arrival at the theme park ticket windows through December 18, 2020. Please check the website for current pricing and further information as prices and offers are subject to change.

Please stop back by the Disney Parks Moms Panel if you have any more questions that we can help answer!
