Is there a discount for military veterans? If so, will a DD-214 be sufficient as proof?? Thanks so much!

    Ahoy Rachel!

Welcome aboard the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  First and foremost, thank you and your family for your service to our country.  Sailing with Captain Mickey sounds like a great way for your pirate crew to enjoy family time.  I am thrilled for you to experience a high seas adventure together!

Disney Cruise Line appreciates military families as well and offers special military rates for select sailings.  To take advantage of these rates, you must show proof of military status.  I reached out to a Vacation Planning Specialist at Disney Cruise Line and a DD-214 cannot be accepted as proof of military service.  Guests need to present either an active duty or retiree ID, or a 100% permanently disabled Veterans ID to take advantage of these special rates.

With so many great itineraries offered, I am sure your family will find the perfect Disney Cruise.  Don't miss the recently released Fall 2020 sailings that include Halloween on the High Seas and Very Merrytime cruises!

Sail back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with any additional questions you have as you plan your magical getaway.  Be sure to check out the helpful Disney Cruise Line planning videos as well to help you navigate towards your perfect vacation!

    "Sea" ya real soon!  Angie
