As a fellow
Walt Disney World Annual Passholder, I too was disappointed not to receive this super cute magnet! I love the Orange Bird, and have one of the Orange Bird sipper cups sitting in my living room right now as a decoration! He’s so bright and cheerful and I agree, getting Mickey mail always brightens my day when I am far away from the most magical place on earth.
I have a few pieces of advice for you, Elizabeth. First, the magnets are only mailed to
active Annual Passholders. I think this wording is a little tricky. My Annual Pass was set to expire in March of 2021, and I did call and purchase a renewal certificate in a timely fashion. However, since our trip wasn’t until July of 2021, that renewal pass was technically not activated until our trip in July, and so the computer system considered us to be
inactive Annual Passholders during the spring months that the Orange Bird made his appearance in mailboxes. I wonder if this is also what happened in your case? I totally feel your disappointment on this one.
If your pass was fully activated during the spring months, the other thing to do is to check that your address is correct. Go to
My Disney Experience and select Profile, then select Contact Information and be sure your address is correct for each Annual Passholder. While my Annual Pass is currently active, I have yet to receive the latest Annual Passholder magnet, but I keep checking my mailbox excitedly to see if it shows up! Hopefully, both our households will receive them soon!
