Welcome to planDisney, Vaneada!
We're so glad you stopped by ahead of your visit this weekend. Let's dive in and answer each of your questions one at a time.
Discount tickets are available for eligible active and retired military personnel, with a few stipulations. My fellow panelist
Frances shared some helpful details in this answer, which I recommend reviewing. If you qualify for the 2026
Disney Celebrates America Military Salute Ticket or a 4, 5, or 6-day Disney Military Salute Ticket with Park Hopper or Park Hopper Plus option, tickets can be purchased at your local participating U.S. military base ticket office or through
Shades of Green Resort tax-free, or at any theme park ticket window with tax added. Eligible Service Members can purchase up to 6 total tickets, one of which must be used by yourself or your spouse. This may not work for your large party, so I recommend checking out the
Special Offers, Packages and More page to review all current promotions. Keep in mind that theme park reservations may be required for each day you plan to visit, depending on the type of ticket ultimately purchased.
Motorized scooters/
ECVS are available for rent at each of the 4 theme parks, both water parks, and at Disney Springs for a daily fee. These are available on a first-come, first-served basis, with a deposit required. While ECVs and wheelchairs must be returned before exiting, your daily rental fee is transferable across locations if you'll be visiting multiple parks on the same day. Just hang on to your receipt and present it at your second destination for a new rental. If you'll need an ECV during your off-property stay, reach out to a third-party provider like
ScooterBug, which offers rental options in the greater Orlando area.
Finally, while there is no priority-ticket option (
standard admission for adults and children is available here), you can purchase
Lightning Lane Passes. As an off-property guest, you'll be able to purchase Multi Pass and/or Single Pass 3 days before your ticket start date. Since that's right around the corner, I recommend securing admission and ensuring it's linked to your My Disney Experience account as soon as possible. While Lightning Lane Passes are not required to enjoy attractions, they can save valuable time compared to waiting in the standby queues. I
detailed all the current pass options in this recent answer, which may be helpful to read if you're hoping to tackle a lot of attractions during your visit.
Vaneada, I hope I've offered some clarity, but if you need further assistance, feel free to r
each out to a Cast Member by phone. They can answer any additional questions you may have and offer further guidance on linking everything for your party. Wishing you a fantastic visit!
Magic and memories,
Amy
