I am a 100% disabled veteran permanent. However I have a retired id. The new IDs do not have DAVPRM on them anymore they just have 100% disabled American veteran on it. Can I provide my rating letter for this verification?

    Ahoy Adam!

Thank you for dropping anchor here at planDisney. Let me start by offering you a giant THANK YOU for your service to our country and the sacrifices you have made during that service. As a military spouse and veteran, I have enjoyed many extraordinary discounts and special offers Disney extends to “salute” our U.S. Service Members and their families. I would be honored to use my experience to help you navigate special U.S. Military Rates for select sailings with Disney Cruise Line

Special military rates are available to retired and active U.S. Military Personnel (and their spouses) on select sailings with Disney Cruise Line. Active and retired members (or spouses) of the U.S. Military must provide valid identification at check-in. As a retired military I.D. card holder, you can use this to verify your military service and eligibility. Your disability status is unnecessary for special military rates on cruises with Disney Cruise Line. The disability status is only needed in certain situations where you do not hold a valid active or retired military identification.

I hope this information clarifies the proof of military status needed to qualify for special military rates on cruises with Disney Cruise Line. If not, please come back here to planDisney. We will do our best to ensure you experience smooth sailing!

    Happy Cruising!
