Hi Brenda! Thanks for dropping by planDisney.
Currently, to enter the parks you need both a valid admission ticket and theme park reservation. There is no special ticket needed for Guests with disabilities. If you don't already have your standard admission ticket and theme park reservation, however, you'll want to check the
availability calendar. It's a popular time of year to visit and it is possible for a park or a date to fill up. Availability of theme park reservations isn't guaranteed.
Disneyland Resort is dedicated to creating an environment that is welcoming and accommodating for all Guests. To this end, several
resources might be useful before and during your visit. I have visited the parks with friends and family who made use of some of these resources and we had a wonderful time enjoying the parks together. My uncle is visually impaired, and he really values the
resources available to him on our trips. It makes a world of difference!
If you believe you'd have difficulty waiting in a traditional queue, you might be eligible for
Disability Access Service. This system allows eligible Guests to book a return time using the Disneyland mobile app, so they don't have to wait in the standard queue. You're not skipping the line, however, as your return time will be roughly equivalent to the current wait time. To inquire about registering for DAS visit Guest Relations on your park day.
DAS is not intended for Guests with a disability that requires the use of a scooter or wheelchair. Services and access options for Guests with
mobility disabilities are available throughout the parks. Guests using a wheelchair or scooter can usually wait in the standard queue, however.
If you have questions about your upcoming visit, please feel free to give
Disability Services a call to speak with a helpful Cast Member.
Have a magical time!
Elizabeth
