Welcome to planDisney, Jeff, and thanks for stopping by. Your family is going to have a magical time on your
Walt Disney World Resort visit in the next few days, and I couldn't be more excited for you. Your little princess needs a carriage fit for royalty, so let's look at how to set her up in style!
It sounds like you've pre-registered for
Disability Access Service (DAS), so way to go! I hope you can experience my sentimental favorite,
Peter Pan's Flight, at
Magic Kingdom Park. This was the first attraction I rode with my parents when I was small, and I still remember that thrill of soaring over London.
Stroller Rental locations are near the theme park entrances, so I suggest making that your first stop of the day since strollers cannot be reserved in advance. My best tip is to rent one for your length of stay because you'll save some money, and all you'll need to do the next day is show your receipt. Strollers cannot leave the theme parks, so if you plan to hop to a different park on the same day, you'll return the stroller before you leave one park and then show your receipt at the next park to pick up another.
Some of my planDisney pals have suggested guests attach a colorful ribbon, scarf, or Disney balloon to their rental stroller to differentiate it from others. As much as I adore Mickey Mouse, it can be challenging to distinguish one mouse from another in a sea of Disney strollers!
My final tip is to stop by
Guest Relations if you think the stroller will need to be used as a wheelchair for your sweet gal. It's up to the Cast Member's discretion, but they may offer a tag to place on the stroller so she can
remain in it for queues and other experiences.
Jeff, I'm sprinkling pixie dust and tiaras so your visit is full of magic and memories. Please stop by
planDisney anytime!
Magic awaits,
Elaine
