Is there a direct bus route available between Animal Kingdom and DTD?

    Hi Heather,

There are no direct buses between the theme parks and Downtown Disney.

If you want to use Disney's free transportation system to get from the Animal Kingdom to Downtown Disney, it's a two-step process. First take a bus from the AK to a Disney resort hotel. The easiest options are probably the Animal Kingdom Lodge (close to AK) or Saratoga Springs (close to DD), then transfer at the resort to a bus to Downtown Disney.

If you're pressed for time, then you can grab a taxi at the Animal Kingdom. Rates vary, but you can expect to pay somewhere in the neighborhood of $15. I've also heard that Uber is up and running in the Disney area and can sometimes provide a lower cost alternative to a cab.
