Hello, Gerald, and welcome to planDisney!
I'm excited to hear that you are ready to make some dining reservations for your upcoming
Walt Disney World Resort visit. While the trip is a true magical adventure, I always say planning is half the fun!
Disney dining is one of my favorite topics! There are a couple of different ways to make an advance dining reservation online. If you know what restaurant you want to dine at, I suggest searching for that restaurant on the Walt Disney World website and selecting "Check Availability" from the restaurant's page. To give you an example, I am in the mood for pizza from my favorite stop in EPCOT:
Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria. From that page, I can view the menu, see their hours of operation and "Check Availability" for a reservation. Once you select "Check Availability," you'll need to sign into your Disney account and will then be able to select your party size, the date and the available time for your reservation.
If you aren't sure what restaurant you would like, but want to see a list of reservations available, you can also
check dining availability online. With this option, you can select your party size, date and time of day to see which dining locations are available to book a reservation. Make sure to also use the filter button in order to select which park you'll be visiting or if you want
Disney Resort hotel options or
Disney Springs options. You can also select between cuisines, price and whether or not they participate in the dining plan.
Character Dining Experiences are a must-do for my family each visit, so I always recommend at least one. It's a great way to have a little more time meeting your favorite Disney pals. T
usker House Restaurant is my favorite, but you can't go wrong with any of these dining delights.
Along with making reservations on the Walt Disney World Resort website, you can also make them from the
My Disney Experience Mobile App. The procedure is very similar. Once you have downloaded the app and logged in, you'll select the "+" at the bottom-center of the screen and choose "Check Dining Availability" from the options. From there, select your party size, date and time and a list of available reservations will appear.
Another great tip about dining and the My Disney Experience Mobile App is the
Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering from participating Quick-Service locations.
Happy planning and enjoy your Disney vacation, Gerald. If you need any other dining reservation guidance or a list of my favorite dining recommendations, please let me know.
Magical Wishes,
Lauren
