We have a dinning reservation at 9:00 am which is when the park opens. I don't want to be late so will they let us in the park early so we can make our reservation time? If so, do we go to the gate and let them know? Thanks!

    Pamela,

This is common concern. But no worries, all will work out well.

What you do is arrive ahead of your reservation as you would any other day. When you get there, clearly they are not letting people in the park. But if you look to the extreme right or left of the entry kiosks, you will see a Cast Member in an apron with a tablet computer. They are dressed to the restaurant theme. They will confirm your reservation, and then they will let you enter the park, even though it is not open yet.

You do scan your park tickets, as you would in a normal entry, then you are allowed to follow a guided walkway to your restaurant. You cannot veer off the path, as other parts of the park are not yet open, but you can get photos taken, enjoy the quiet walk, and generally make your way to your destination.

    NOTE:
This is a great time to get pictures in front of the Castle, since there are no crowds, and yes, there are typically PhotoPass photographers there already.

Once at your restaurant, check in as usual, and enjoy your meal!

Have a magical (and delicious) vacation!
