Hi there, April!
It looks like you'll be visiting the
Walt Disney World Resort during the most BOO-tiful time of the yEAR! It also sounds like you'll be traveling with family, which will make your October stay even more SPOOK-tacular.
The
Disney Dining Plan is a great way to experience all the delicious food offerings available throughout the parks and resorts without having to pay out of pocket for each meal. My family is looking forward to our next vacation because we are also utilizing the plan and can't wait to try some new restaurants and enjoy some of our old favorites. Dining credits can not be used to share meals with others, but you can treat your two family members by allowing them to redeem two of your Table-Service credits. You'll want to let your server know the number of meals you are redeeming when you present your MagicBand or card for payment. Most
Character Dining Experiences only takes one Table-Service entitlement except
Cinderella's Royal Table, which requires two per Guest (always subject to change). I highly recommend keeping up with your entitlements if you plan to use a couple of extras on this particular meal. You can check this on your dining receipt, in the My Disney Experience app or at Guest Relations and the Resort Concierge. A helpful tip to remember is there are no rules on order of use of your plan as long as you've redeemed all your meals and snacks by midnight on your date of checkout. Also, don't forget to plan for tips! I've budgeted for mine by picking up Disney Gift Cards during my weekly store visits.
April, thank you for visiting us hEAR at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. The next few months will fly by as you finalize your plans for your visit. We hope you'll come back to see us if you have any further questions.
Have a magical day!
Nancy
