What’s the best way to get to Wilderness Lodge for dinner from the Swan then to the Polynesian for dessert ? Ty

Greetings Teresa and welcome back to planDisney!

You’ve got me wondering which outstanding meal you are going to have at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge Resort? Are you going to hug it out with Dopey and mix it up with the The Queen at Story Book Dining at Artist Point with Snow White? Is it my favorite Bison Cheeseburger at Geyser Point Bar & Grill? Or is it the Granny Smith apple pie at Whispering Canyon Cafe that hits the spot? You can’t go wrong with any of those options!

Teresa, now to get you there and to the Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort for dessert from Walt Disney World’s Swan Hotel! You have multiple options.  The first is complimentary transportation provided by Disney.  You can take the Friendship Boat from the Swan boat dock and make the trip to Disney’s Hollywood Studios where you could board a bus to Wilderness Lodge.  There is also a short scenic walkway between Disney’s BoardWalk and Disney’s Hollywood Studios to get you to those complimentary bus stops, it's a nice walk along the water and the path ends right where you would catch your bus!  You could also walk to the Disney Skyliner near EPCOT’s International Gateway and use the Skyliner to transport you to Hollywood Studios to grab that bus.

Teresa, you could also use a ride share to get you directly from the Swan to the Wilderness Lodge.  The pixie dust version of the ride share would be to call on the Minnie Van to transport you in Disney style!

Once you have finished that spectacular meal at Wilderness Lodge, the scenic route to the Polynesian would be to head to the boat dock to jump on a boat to the Magic Kingdom.  Once you have departed your boat at the Magic Kingdom, you can board another boat to cross the Seven Seas Lagoon to end up at the Polynesian for your nightcap! You could also summon a ride share from the Wilderness Lodge to chauffer you to the Polynesian if you are looking to save some time, but it would add some cost to the budget.

Teresa, I’m sure you’ll have an amazing adventure, and I hope you save room to enjoy a Mickey Bar or two!  Have a great time!
