What dinner show is best for a five year old? Hoop Dee Doo Revue, Micky's Backyard Barbeque, or Luau at Poly? Thank you .

    Hi Akiice,

First, I would cross the Spirit of Aloha Luau off your lists. This is lots of Polynesian dancing and not much else to appeal to a young child.

Either the Hoop Dee Doo or the BBQ are good choices. I personally prefer the Hoop Dee Doo. My family has been going to this every year since my twins were four years old. The food is great and there are loads of corny jokes the really do appeal to all ages.

The BBQ is more like a character meal. The food is basic picnic grub, and there are plenty of opportunities to dance with Mickey and the gang. My one caveat is that if your son is shy, he may feel overwhelmed having to work his way up to dance with the characters.

But you really can't go wrong with either of the Fort Wilderness choices. Enjoy!
