We have dinner reservations for 4:45pm at Tusker House. We'd like to go to La Nouba 9pm show in Downtown Disney. Is this doable? What's the distance between the 2 and how long do I need to allow to get from Tusker to Downtown Disney? Oct 2015 Thanks!

Hi Linda! Sounds like you're planning a great evening! It should take you between 45 minutes to an hour to get from the Animal Kingdom to Downtown Disney. There are currently no direct buses from the theme parks to Downtown Disney, so you'll need to head to a resort first and then transfer. Ideally, I recommend taking a bus to Saratoga Springs Resort, as it is the closest to Downtown Disney. From there, you can take a boat or walk.  Given these times, I would aim to leave the Animal Kingdom no later than 7:15. This will give you time to get to the La Nouba theatre in plenty of time. Another option is to take a taxi. There is a taxi stand outside the theme park entrance, and the ride will take about 20 minutes, which is a great option if you're running late.
