Hi Donna!
'Ohana is one of my favorite places to eat at the
Walt Disney World Resort! Not only is the food amazing, but the view is also spectacular! When you arrive at
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort for your reservation, you will go to the podium to "sign in." When you do this, you will receive a buzzer that will let you know when it is time for your party to be seated. This buzzer should work throughout the upstairs lobby, but because the signal will not reach very far, I doubt it would work on the beach. You may be able to go to the gift shop downstairs, but personally, I would stay upstairs. There is an amazing little shop up there too!
That being said, you still have a couple of options to watch the fireworks before dinner! If you would like to watch them from the beach, I would suggest waiting to check in for your reservation until after the fireworks. The walk from the beach to the restaurant is pretty short, so you should have time. Currently, the
Happily Ever After fireworks showcase is scheduled to begin at 9:15 p.m. in June, and it lasts about 18 minutes. This should give you time to make your way up to 'Ohana for your reservation. If you are still concerned about getting there on time, you can watch the fireworks through the large windows in the upstairs lobby just outside of the restaurant! With so many amazing places throughout Disney's Polynesian Village Resort to view fireworks over Cinderella Castle, I'm sure you will be able to find the perfect spot!
Have a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow!
