Catherine from CA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I have dinner reservations at Goofy's Kitchen on Aug 10th. A person will be joining us for dinner that will have her own car. Can she get the validated parking also.

Hi Catherine! Welcome to planDisney. Goofy's Kitchen is always a deliciously fun (and delightfully rambunctious) experience! I know my family and I enjoyed our breakfast there a few years ago. Your group is in for a treat.

I reached out to the Disneyland Hotel and spoke with a helpful Cast Member, Christina, to verify the current policy. She confirmed that large parties are indeed able to have parking validation for their separate vehicles. For example, she shared that she had visited the Disneyland Hotel with her friend for lunch in the past and they were both able to have their separate vehicles validated. Your additional guest should be able to have a separate vehicle validation.

In order to take advantage of the parking validation, you and the additional guest will need to give the name on the dining reservation to the Cast Member at the parking lot entrance. You both will receive three hours of complementary parking, with the option of valet or self-parking. You should note that additional fees will apply after the initial three-hour period, so be sure to move your vehicle before the three-hour window expires to avoid being charged.

Also, if your party is celebrating a birthday or another special occasion, don't forget to let the host know when you check in. While special experiences can't be guaranteed, Goofy's Kitchen Cast Members always do a wonderful job making celebrations feel extra magical.

However, if you have some time after your dinner, you may want to take a few minutes to explore the hotel grounds. The Disneyland Hotel has plenty of nostalgic touches that pay tribute to the history of Disneyland Park. One of my personal favorites is located in the Frontierland Tower. The lobby of the tower contains a miniature replica of Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. Every time I stop by, I notice another fun detail.

Catherine, if you have any additional questions about your upcoming dining reservation or or would like more tips for your Disneyland Resort visit, pop on back to planDisney. We’d be happy to help!

    Bon appetit!
