Heigh-Ho Chris,
Walt Disney World Resort is home to a cornucopia of restaurants. From food trucks to quick-service and marketplace booths to table-service dining options Guests are sure to fill the rumbly in their tumbly with something delectable. Guests wishing to make an advance dining reservation, at any of the table-service restaurants, should pay close attention to the
cancellation policy and fees. Each restaurant has its own cancellation policy and typically adheres to them.
This is a tricky one, Chris. I completely understand the dilemma because many times advance dining reservations are typically are not a dime a dozen to come by. Between now and the time of your arrival, I would check daily for the option to push your reservation back to a later time or if possible, another day. Guests can do this in their My Disney Experience by trying to modify their current reservation to see what is available. If nothing comes available then you will need to make a choice. Do you wish upon a star and see if everything works out on your travel day? Or do you find another dining option for the day and cancel your current reservation? It's not a simple answer because you do run the risk of being charged for a no-show. But if you take the chance and a delay does occur you may be able to call (407) WDW-DINE and speak to an empathetic Cast Member who may sprinkle a little bit of pixie dust your way.
While I know I have not given you a straightforward answer, I hope I have given you some tools and options to consider. If you would like some dining recommendations, at the Walt Disney World Theme Park you will be visiting on your arrival day,
feel free to ask me I am happy to oblige.
Have a Practically Perfect Day,
Amy M.
