We have dinner reservations with Cinderella at 1900 Park Fare because when making the reservations I was told Cinderella just greats you at the door. My 4 yr daughter really wanted to eat in the castle, but I'm afraid she will be disappointed.

    Jodi,

I think you may be right.  I know my girls would be disappointed by that, and a friend just returned from a Disney trip and they were disappointed as well.  I think it all comes down to what is more important to her - eating in the castle, or eating with Cinderella?

There is a dinner with Cinderella, Prince Charming, Lady Tremaine (stepmother), Anastasia, and Drizella (stepsisters).  This is held in 1900 Park Fare in the Grand Floridian Resort - a short monorail ride away from the Magic Kingdom.  We've eaten there a few times and really enjoy it.  The Grand Floridian is a beautiful resort, and the food at 1900 is excellent.  The stepsisters completely stole the show for my husband and I - they are hilarious!  I know my daughters were still captivated by Cinderella, and having their pictures taken with a real prince was also very exciting.  And if your daughter is so inclined, she can wear her own Princess dress and have her picture taken in a coach outside!  (Not moving of course, but still a great place for pictures)

All that said, I know your daughter wants to eat in the castle and I understand.  It really is beautiful inside, with a curving staircase stained glass windows, and great park views.  On the way in you get a picture with Cinderella and a magic wand for girls (sword for the boys).  And other princesses will come to your table, even if not Cinderella.  When I ate there in December 2007 I saw Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Mary Poppins, and Belle.  So although she won't be eating with Cinderella, there won't be any shortage of royalty to distract her.  :)
