Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Cedric!
My family and I love staying at
Animal Kingdom Lodge when we visit the Walt Disney World Resort. It feels like we're a world away, and the beautiful savannahs with animals roaming all day and night are simply breathtaking and a really fun way to learn about the animals of Africa.
Whether we're staying there or elsewhere, we also love to make reservations at one of their popular restaurants,
Boma. We've actually got reservations there twice for this fall when we stay at that resort, as we couldn't decide between the amazing breakfast or the exotic and delicious dinner, so we opted for both! I'm excited for you to sample some of the African flavors offered!
It's easy to travel from Magic Kingdom to Animal Kingdom Lodge to dine at Boma using the
resort transportation. Simply exit the gates of Magic Kingdom and head left to the resort bus stops. You'll be hopping aboard the Animal Kingdom Lodge bus to the Jambo House. Transportation can take awhile, so be sure to leave plenty of time and leave Magic Kingdom an hour earlier than your reservation. We've had the unfortunate times when we walked up to the bus stop just as the bus to our resort was leaving, and had to wait for the next one. Plus, you'll want to get there early so you can pop out on one of the observation decks to check out the animals on the savannah. What a treat! When we were there earlier this year, a young giraffe was having the time of his life galloping around at top speed, and we were having the best time watching his antics!
Have a magical vacation and enjoy your meal at Boma, Cedric!
