    We have dinner reservations Aug 17 at 7:50 at rodeo roundup. We booked it thinking Fantasmic! would be at 9:30 but now it says 9 PM. It’s hard to get openings at restaurant so not sure if we’ll be able to modify. When is fantasmic?

    I dined at Rodeo Roundup BBQ recently and it was a fabulous experience. The food is so good that it has become my favorite restaurant for a sit-down meal at Disney's Hollywood Studios. I love that it is served family-style and you can try as much of anything as you want. Be free to ask your server because it says to choose one dessert but they are normally super generous with letting you try a few options if you can't make up your mind!

    I just checked the calendar listing for Fantasmic and as you mentioned, it does now say that it will start at 9 PM. I would continue to check the show times up until the day of your visit as it is subject to change. Fantasmic is a fabulous show that is a must-do if you love nighttime spectaculars. If you are set on eating dinner at Rodeo Roundup BBQ and also making your way over to Fantasmic in time to secure a good view of the show, then I recommend checking back regularly over the next few weeks to see if you can secure an earlier dinner reservation. Your current timeline would be cutting it super close and you don't want to rush such a fabulous meal or risk a bad viewing location for the show. 

    I prefer eating at Rodeo Roundup BBQ for lunch because it offers a nice cool place to relax halfway through a warm day at Hollywood Studios. Lunch reservations seem to be a little bit easier to secure and eating earlier will leave you plenty of time for more fun and then a relaxing stroll over to Fantasmic. I always grab popcorn and a drink before we head over to the perfect viewing spot so we have something to munch on while waiting for the magic to start! It is also a great way to keep kids from getting too antsy! If you are looking for something a little more substantial than popcorn, stop by Woody's Lunch Box on your way over for a Lunch Box Tart or Ice Cream Float.
