I have dinner reservations already for Narcoossee's Dinner and I was wondering if I need to call to get a good seat to watch the firework show or if its whoever makes reservations first gets the better seating first? Thanks in advance for your help!

    Hi Rebecca!

You've picked not only my favorite restaurant at Walt Disney World, but also one of my favorite places to watch Wishes Nighttime Spectacular!  It’s actually become a bit of a vacation tradition for my family to enjoy dinner and fireworks here on one night of our trip, and it’s always one of our favorite memories.

I've been seated both by the window and farther back in the restaurant and it seems this is just random, and likely based on what’s available for your party at your reservation time.  The good news is that there really isn’t a bad seat in the house.  Even if you’re not seated by a window, the whole restaurant seems to take a pause when Wishes begins - the lights dim, the music is piped in and your server will happily put your dining service on hold until the show is over.  If you don’t have a front-row view, there is also a waterfront verandah where you can enjoy the fireworks outside.  Depending on schedules, you may also be able to catch the Electrical Water Pageant while you’re there.

That being said, you’re welcome to add your request for a window seat to your dining reservation.  Just have your confirmation number handy and call (407) WDW-DINE (939-3463) to add that request.  I’d also recommend arriving at least 20 minutes before your reservation time to check in and making the request again at the podium.  While there’s no guarantee, it never hurts to ask.

I hope that’s helpful, Rebecca, and wishing you a magical vacation!
