Hi Gloria! Thanks for stopping by planDisney. It's always great to help out a fellow Palmetto State resident!
I'm excited to hear that you have an upcoming trip planned to the
Walt Disney World Resort. January is a wonderful time of the year to visit. The weather is typically pleasant, which makes exploring the parks very enjoyable.
Gloria, there are a few ways to go about making
dining reservations for your upcoming stay. You can visit the Walt Disney World website and sign into your My Disney Experience account. Once logged in, select "Reserve Dining" from the My Disney Experience drop-down menu. You'll then enter the number of Guests in your party, the date you plan to dine, and the time slot you prefer. Once this criteria is entered, dining locations will appear below that have availability on that day. Simply scroll through the list to find the restaurant you are looking for and select the time that works best for you. Keep in mind that dining reservations are available sixty days in advance of your visit, so you may need to be flexible with your requests.
You can also use the search bar at the top of the page and type in the dining location you wish to make a reservation for. Click on the blue box that reads "Check Available Days" and enter the same information I mentioned in the previous paragraph. This will limit your search to only the specific restaurant you want to dine at.
Your other option is to use the
My Disney Experience App on your mobile device. Once logged in, tap on the "+" sign at the bottom of the screen and select "Check Dining Availability". You'll enter your party size, date, and time to reveal all the available dining locations on this day. Scroll down to find the restaurant you are searching for and select the time you plan to dine. Follow the prompts to secure your reservation. You can also use the magnifying glass icon on the bottom of the screen and search for the restaurant you want to make a reservation for. Tap on "Reserve Dining" and enter the same information yet again. If there is availability, the specific time slots will appear to choose from.
Gloria, I hope this information helps you plan for your visit later this month. One of my favorite restaurants to dine at is
Sebastian's Bistro located at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. This is a fixed-price dinner that offers family-style dining. The menu is Caribbean-themed with some of the most flavorful dishes you will come across during your stay. The slow-cooked mojo pork was one of my favorites.
Have a magical trip! Stop back and see us again at planDisney!
