    We have a dinner reservation at the Tusker House at 5:30 on Feb 6th but it shows online that the restaurant closes when the park closes at 5?

    Hello Kelli!  Thanks for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.   I am so happy that you have chosen to dine at my FAVORITE Disney restaurant!   You must try the vegetable samosas, they are so delicious.  My husband and I will often ask the chef for the recipe of a new dish each time we visit. When get home we can recreate some of our favorite entrees, making us feel like we have brought  a little bit of the Animal Kingdom Park right into our own kitchen. 

    I have talked to a cast member at the restaurant.  The hours for dinner seating at Tusker House on February 6, 2014 are from 3:45pm -5:30pm.  Your reservation will be the last seating time at this establishment.  Do not feel rushed though, enjoy your meal and take as long as you need to enjoy this exquisite cuisine.  A perk of your later seating is that when you have finished your meal, you will be able to capture some really amazing pictures of your family in an almost empty theme park.
