Hiya Pamela,
It is great to have you hEAR at planDisney. It won't be long now until you are on your way to
The World's Most Magical Celebration! Did you know that you will also be there in time to enjoy the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival? Guests have the chance to nibble and sip their way around The World Showcase, by purchasing culinary delights from six continents. I love all of the food and beverage options so much, that it is hard to pick a favorite. You will definitely want to come hungry!
That is great that you were able to snag an
advanced dining reservation at
Cinderella's Royal Table. Unfortunately, if your reservation is for an evening that
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is taking place, you will not be able to enter the theme park after 6pm EST without a ticket for this special event. On party nights, the theme park does close to its daytime Guests at 6pm. While it is possible for daytime Guests to remain in the theme park after the 6pm time in order to enjoy dinner reservations, those reservations would need to be for a time prior to the theme park closing and the party starting. Then, once you finish dinner, Cast Members would escort you to the front of park and to the exit. Given your reservation is for a time much later than 6pm, you will not be able to remain in the park without a ticket to the party.
I can think of two options you have - first you could call the
Dining Reservations team and see if there are any earlier reservations times. It is a long shot as this is a popular restaurant but they may be able to help you find something before 6pm. If they do not have an opening now, remember to check back often (by phone of through your
My Disney Experience account) as there are occasional cancelations. Your second option would be to purchase tickets to join the festivities of the party. As a Party Guest not only will you have the chance to stay and enjoy most of the Magic Kingdom attractions until midnight, there are so many special character interactions and entertainment options that I think the party is well-worth the ticket cost. Plus you can trick-or-treat at select locations in the park and maybe even see the Headless Horseman. It really is a bootiful time! Should you decide not to join the party, and are unable to find a different reservation time, please do not forget to cancel your reservation to avoid any no-show-fees.
Sending you lots of pixie dust that you are able to find a new time or even better, join the Halloween fun. If you need any additional planning help, please
stop back and see me.
Hope to see ya real soon,
Margaret
