I have a dinner reservation for 3 at Ohana in July. I want to add a 4th person but there is no availability online. What is the best way to handle this situation? We really want to eat here! Thanks!

    Dear Danielle,

Thank you so much for stopping by to visit us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your great question about planning ahead for your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

Yes, that can be a challenge, when you have planned out your Advanced Dining Reservations well ahead of time and then you need to make modifications. You have a few options.

First, I would attempt to make a new reservation for just one person as close to the previously scheduled time as you can. If you can find a reservation for one, then when you arrive at 'Ohana, you can tell the server that you actually have two separate reservations and see if they can be combined into one table.

A second choice would be to continue to check for new reservations as you get closer to your dates. Commonly, people do make last-minute changes so you may find in the days leading up to the reservation itself, there may be some changes made.

Another option would be to arrive early at the restaurant on the day of the reservation and politely ask if there is a way to add another guest to your reservation. That is more risky, though, because especially at a very popular venue such as 'Ohana, there may not be any availability for your last guest. If that person is not able to be seated, though, there's lots to do around the grounds of the hotel, and perhaps they could take a stroll to the beach to hang out while waiting for you.

Hope that helps with your magical planning!
