I have a dinner reservation at Mexico in Epcot for Oct 21st at 7:45 first off I was wondering how early I need to be there to get my table, also We are celebrating a birthday that night i was wondering what I need to do to get a dessert or surprise!

The Disney restaurants all recommend that you arrive 10-15 minutes in advance of your reservation. The Mexico pavilion is a fun place to wait if you have a few moments. There are interesting crafts for sale, and you absolutely must take a photo of your entire group wearing the giant sombreros.

While Disney "surprises" are not guaranteed at meals, you can increase your odds of having your birthday recognized by telling everyone you can about the birthday. Call Disney Dining at 407-WDW-DINE and have them make a note on your reservation, tell the host or hostess at the restaurant podium and the server at your table. If you would like to ensure that your celebration has a cake, you can order one by calling the cake hotline at 407-872-CAKE. (How cool is that?!)

Have a wonderful meal in Mexico!
