If we want to have dinner at one of the restarants in Epcot and then leave, do we need to buy a ticket or is there a way to just get a limited entrance for dinner?

    Hey Howdy Hey Elaine,

Thanks for stopping back to see us at planDisney. The holidays are my absolute favorite time of the yEAR to visit Walt Disney World Resort. They are also one of the most popular times for Guests to visit, so I am happy to see you are already in planning mode for next year.

My family often ends our days at EPCOT, as we love the huge selection of amazing restaurants. Not only will you find three fantastic table service options in World Discovery and World Nature (including my kids' favorite, Garden Grill), but World Showcase is home to a number of authentic and unique dining options representing each of the represented countries circling World Showcase Lagoon.

Unfortunately, Guests must have a valid theme park admission ticket to dine at any of these restaurants as there is not an entry option for dining only. If you have purchased a standard theme park ticket, you could consider adding the Park Hopper Option. For a small, additional upgrade fee you would be able to park hop over to EPCOT, based on park availability, anytime after 2pm. This would give you the chance to spend your day enjoying the other theme parks or Disney Springs and then head to EPCOT for dinner. As a reminder, advanced dining reservations are always suggested as most of these restaurants are extremely popular and walk-up options may not be available.

I hope this helps you plan some perfect family dinners! If I can assist with any additional planning questions, please stop back and see me.

Wishing you plenty of pixie dusted planning,
    Margaret
