Dinner ideas please for a group of 35? An amazing person has gifted all of us with villas at OKW, we are attempting to all get together for a meal. Not even sure we can get that many people into oop-Dee-Doo.O'hana would be awesome, but unlikely. TY

Welcome to planDisney, Michael! Wow, it sounds like you've got a really exciting trip coming up next year. I'm glad you've come to ask about booking dining because, with a group of 35 Guests, it will require a little bit of forethought and some planning to find somewhere everyone wants to go. I think you're definitely on the right track thinking about places like 'Ohana and Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue! I don't think these places are out of the question or impossible to get, but I've also got a few more options for you that will be great for a large party like yours.

Michael, I think the best option for your group is going to be a buffet or family-style restaurant. Everyone will pay a set price per person, so it's easy to split the bill and no ordering needs to be done since the food will just come to you, or you'll go serve yourself at the buffet. With that in mind, I recommend checking out Boma - Flavors of Africa at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. It's my favorite buffet at Walt Disney World Resort, and the large dining room has lots of seating for large groups. Whispering Canyon Cafe at Disney's Wilderness Lodge is a family-style option that's lots of fun and will please even the pickiest palates. Biergarten Restaurant in the Germany Pavilion at EPCOT has tons of very large tables and a fun party atmosphere as well, so it would be another great choice for your group of 35!

Whichever restaurant you choose, you will need to call (407) WDW-DINE to make your reservation 60 days in advance of your check-in day. Since it's such a large group, calling and speaking to a Cast Member directly will yield a much better result than trying to book several smaller reservations around the same time and hoping they can seat you together when you arrive. I recommend ranking the restaurants you want to try and just going down the list until you find one that has availability. Even if you think it would be unlikely to get such a large table at some of the restaurants you mentioned in your question, it never hurts to ask! They're both great for large groups, but I think you'll have a great meal at any of the places I mentioned today.

I hope this answers your question, Michael, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation!
