What is the dinner dress code for children, and adults for 8 night Caribbean cruise on the Magic? can children wear crocs with their dinner attire?

    Hi Justine!

You are going to love the rotational dining experience during your Disney Cruise.  Being able to visit three different dining rooms that all tell their own story is just magical!  With eight nights on the ship, you will get to visit all the dining rooms twice and two of them three times!  These amazing spaces definitely make you want to dress for the occasion!  On your sailing, you can expect several cruise casual evenings, a semi-formal and a formal night.  On the cruise casual nights, Disney Cruise Line suggests pants and collared shirts like polos or button-downs for men and sundresses, pants or skirts with coordinating tops for women.  My son lives in his Crocs in the summer and has worn them to the dinner on several occasions.  He usually wears a nice pair of khaki shorts or pants with a polo shirt while my daughter wears a sundress or capri pants with a matching top.  On semi-formal night, a cocktail style dress is common for women and suit and tie or sports coat for men.  My daughter likes to dress like Disney royalty in her princess attire and my son usually wears a nice button down with his khaki pants.  I save our most fancy clothes for formal night.  Most men will be in suits, but you will also see tuxedos as well.  Full-length gowns or short cocktail dresses are both fine for women for this evening.  Some children will be dressed up in coats and ties and fancy dresses too.  One night of your cruise will be a pirate themed night.  Many Guests will choose to dress in costumes either brought from home or purchased onboard at Mickey's Mates.  Caribbean attire or cruise casual is also acceptable for the Pirates IN the Caribbean celebration.

I hope this gives you an idea of what kind of clothes to pack for your cruise.  Please let me know if I can help you further!
