Ahoy, Penny!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! With only two months to go until your
Very Merrytime Cruise, it's just about time to think about what to bring on your magical voyage! I noticed there are actually two Disney ships setting sail on the sail date you listed-a three-night cruise from Port Canaveral on the
Disney Dream or a seven-night voyage on the
Disney Wonder from Galveston. Since I'm not sure which cruise you have booked, I'm going to provide information for both and encourage you to reach out again if I can provide any more helpful information.
On a three-night Bahamian sailing, you can plan on one cruise casual night (what you might wear out to dinner at home), a
Pirate Night (costumes are encouraged for any age, but cruise casual is fine too) and an optional dress-up night (completely up to you on how formal you want to dress).
On the seven-night Caribbean/Bahamian sailings, you can expect four cruise casual nights, one formal night, one semi-formal night and one Pirate Night.
Whatever you choose to wear each night, I always suggest a light sweater or jacket because it may be cool on deck, in the dining rooms or in the lounges and theatre.
I can't wait for you to have a "Merrytime" aboard Disney Cruise Line, Penny! All the festive fun will definitely put you in the holiday spirit!
Have a wonderful day!
Nancy
