Hi Amy!
I have two teen boys and one “tween” boy, and they are currently eating me out of house and home. I bought 6 loaves of bread at the store today to get us through the school week, so I totally understand the teen boy appetite phenomenon. My 14-year-old eats an entire meal, and then eats again!
Raglan Road Irish Pub & Restaurant is a family favorite. All of my children have Irish names so we just feel like we belong there! We love the live entertainment and the food is outstanding. Right now I am thinking about their lovely brown bread with Guinness dipping sauce. SO GOOD! The Disney Dining Plan would include an entree of his choice, but not an additional side. While
the menu does list additional sides you can add on, many of the entrees do include a side already. For example, Foley’s Finest Trout has a side of parmesan and dill gnocchi, the Braised Be Beef includes colcannon mashed potatoes and roasted veggies, and the Serious Steak includes mashed potatoes and battered onion rings. You could, however, pay cash for an additional side if he wanted one. Dessert is also included as part of the Disney Dining Plan, so hopefully, after a nice serving of brown bread and an entree, he can top off the tank with that perfect dessert! I never seem to have room after dinner at Raglan Road, but I hear the Bread & Butter Pudding is the signature dessert to try.
I hope this helps alleviate any worries, and I hope your son stays full and happy on your upcoming visit. Please let me know if there are any additional questions I can help you with!
