When dining with my 2 year old will she literally be required too "eat off my plate" and not a plate of her own? We have some buffet and family style meals booked. if I want to share a meal with her at table service restraunt is there a charge to

Hi, Carrie! No, this is not a literal sharing off the same plate.  At buffets, she can get a plate all her own, and at other Table Service meals, you can ask your serving Cast Member for an extra plate.  There is no charge for either of these.  Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
