    How does dining work for a 2 year old if we get a dining plan?

    Hello Jenna!

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  It is always a pleasure to help out a fellow Guest.  

    Jenna, Disney Dining Plans are available to Guests from ages 3 till infinity and beyond.  Guests aged 3-9 will be considered children and anyone 10 years of age and older will be counted as adults.  Children under 3 are Guests of Mickey Mouse himself and will not need to pay for admission.   That being said they are also more than welcome to share off of a parents plate during meals.  Cast Members will even bring you an extra plate to place their meal on.   At buffets style restaurants making your little one his or her own plate will not be a problem.   If you find that at sit down meals your child will need more food, you can always order an item from the kids meal for him or her and pay out of pocket.  Usually each member of my family would give a small amount of food from each our our plates to the baby and he was more than happy.   Adult portions are rather large and are usually perfect to share with little mouseketeers. 

    I have always found that when dining with infants, the Cast Members are always very accommodating.  I am sure they will do all they can to make sure your dining experiences are magical.   If you think of anything else we can help you with before your adventure begins pleas let us know.
