    How does dining work? Are all meals served menu style or buffet?

    Ahoy Rose Anna!
    Welcome to the Moms Panel! Dining is one of my favorite topics about Disney Cruise Line!  I love boarding the ship and not having to worry about cooking or cleaning during my cruise vacation!  Disney Cruise Line has a unique dining program called rotational dining.  Each night you will rotate to one of three main dining rooms along with the same wonderful servers. During the day these restaurants may be open as a sit-down option or buffet.  You will want to check your daily cruise newsletter, the Personal Navigator for operating times each day.
    As for additional dining options, your family will love to stop by Flo's Cafe which is a quick service option with three walk-up counters including Luigi's Pizza, Tow Mater's Grill and Fillmore's Favorites.  Burgers, paninis, hot dogs, chicken fingers, and pizza are just a sampling of what is offered  throughout the day.  Disney Cruise Line does have a buffet style dining venue on all ships which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner (dinner is sit-down, but a more casual option than the dining rooms). Disney Cruise Line does have adult-dining options that require advanced reservations and charge a nominal fee per person.  Palo is available on all four ships while Remy is on the Disney Dream and Fantasy.
     I also recommend taking advantage of Room Service!  My kids love ordering snacks during the day and night especially the Big Island Cookies and Mickey Bars (not on the menu, but available).  Thank you for stopping by the Moms Panel, Rose Anna!
