Hi. ? about dining. Wondering about Cali. Grill or Jiko for a family of 4 boys, all but 1 are teens? Any thoughts? Love Le Cellier ,looking for another steak place. Have heard great things about both, trying to choose. Thanks for the help.

Hi, Debbie!  Just reading your question made me drool over the filet mignon and macaroni and cheese at Jiko in the Animal Kingdom Lodge!  It is, in my opinion, the best meal, anywhere on Walt Disney World property!  I love this restaurant, and the opportunity to enjoy the savanna and the animals before or after you dine.  Meat eaters would probably also really like the short ribs and braised pork shank.  Melt in your mouth delicious!

The California Grill is also an excellent choice, although for food, I personally prefer Jiko.  I love the sushi options at California Grill, and they have an excellent lobster risotto, which is one of my favorite meals.

You can't go wrong with either, and while I think I notice more children at Jiko, your boys would likely be just fine at California Grill as well.

Either way, I hope you have a fabulous meal and a wonderful vacation!
